TSA took my baby !!!

Like many others, I was incensed at the audacity and attitude of the TSA in the story blogged by Nic. As a parent myself I would have been arrested for what I would have done to the person that took my child away like that…

Until… I contacted the TSA directly for an explanation, and this is what they replied with.

Dear Jon Biddle [sic],

The Transportation Security Administration trains its employees to be
sensitive to the needs of the traveling public and mothers with children
in particular. All of our security screening areas are under constant
video surveillance. A review of this incident shows you and many others
have been duped.

I appreciate your concern for what appeared to be a person who was
wronged, and encourage you to continue to fight the good fight.

PR arse-covering or the real story ? I’m inclined to believe the latter.

I think your reply is a lot of spin and BS. After reading the post by Nic I really hope action is taken and those involved lose their jobs. It was just sicken to hear that these people could treat another person like that.

I'm inclined to agree, although I'm not really sure, after that balloon boy incident…

It has been sent to the TSA head office for confirmation – this may or may not prove anything.
